Envisioning

Imagine a small, quaint chapel built long ago. One where the stones were purposefully chosen and placed. Where the color is a faded gray that has been lightened by time and sunlight. Where hand-mixed cement still holds the stones in place. Where colorful, intricate stained glass adorns the windows. Where alongside this chapel there’s a stream which leads to a garden that invites you to stroll, to pick flowers, to breathe in the sweet air, to sit on a stone bench and be an admirer of the world. This is a place where your soul can be at peace.

Imagine that this is the place you meet with God on a daily basis. To give Him your worries and accept His goodness. You can sit in a grassy spot or lay upon the moss or run your fingers through a stream. Whatever you choose, imagine God there with you. He’s attentive. He loves you.

So, breathe in deeply His love for you. He is with you. He is for you. He loves you. He’s proud of you.
